*Accommodation fees are per person. Weekend courses and retreats include three vegetarian meals a day, served in the World Peace Cafe. The nightly rates when not attending a course include bed and breakfast only. LS: Low season. HS: High season. The high season is from April – September and the Christmas period.
Visiting KMC Netherlands in Schin op Geul
Everybody is welcome to visit and enjoy KMC Netherlands. The Temple and garden is open from dawn to dusk throughout the year. The Temple will be officially opened in February 2010 with a Temple Opening Ceremony, which is open to everybody. Stroll around in the riverside garden, visit the peaceful Kadampa meditation room, enjoy the World Peace Cafe and browse the KMC gift shop. Seasonal opening hours apply. The Temple and the World Peace Cafe are wheelchair accessible.
Overnight visitors are welcome throughout the year.
Weekend courses and retreats
Weekend courses and retreats of KMC Netherlands start with supper on Friday evening and end after lunch on Sundays. Weekend courses and retreats include three vegetarian meals a day, served in the World Peace Cafe. With prior notice it is sometimes possible to provide for special dietary requirements. Please enquire when booking. As rooms have a limited availability, please always book well in advance.
What to bring with you
Hotel Kadampa Holland is home to Kadampa Meditation Centre Netherlands. Hotel Kadampa Holland offers a wide range of accommodation including single, twin and triple rooms. All rooms of Hotel Kadampa Holland are en suite. Bedding and towels are provided in all rooms, but if you are staying as a working visitor please bring a sleeping bag and towel. The World Peace Cafe is open during the weekend courses and retreats. In the WPC you find a shop with snacks and drinks.
How to book
To book for a course or retreat, please send an email to info@nkt-kmc-nederland.org, providing your name, address and course which you would like to attend. You can also phone during office hours at +31 (0)43 459 2458. It is essential to book at least 24 hours in advance.
KMC Netherlands accepts payment in cash (in EUR only), by debit card and credit card. For day courses located outside of KMC Netherlands, please pay in cash only.
